This course provides knowledge about the biology of human teeth, encompassing their development, structure, and function. Students will examine the physiological processes, genetic influences, and common diseases affecting teeth. The course also covers dental occlusion, wear, trauma, and the role of oral microbiota. Advances in dental biomaterials and their applications in restorative dentistry will be highlighted. Through lectures and practical sessions, students will gain comprehensive knowledge essential for advanced dental practice.
